Hokioi Pirate Battleship.

A new Pirate Faction Battleship that combines Caldari and Minmatar ship design.

The Maori name "Hokioi" is from an extinct Eagle that was the largest known in existence.

I like the idea of mixing the factions up, story could easily incorporate it. Loving the design of the ship & excellent presentation. Good luck

I'd have pegged it as purely Minmatar, Thukker perhaps, with no Caldari elements. I don't really know if there are any Caldari/Minmatar pirates. Guristas are Caldari, Serpentis are Gallente, Angel Cartel is a possibility, but those are also predominantly Minmatar as well (Thukker to be precise). But whatever faction it actually belongs to, it's very very nice.

The design is to reflect the speed that the ship is capable off, and relies on speed tanking and maneuverability over high resist and raw hit points.

i was thinking along the lines of

-Caldari bonus 5% reduction in signature radius per level, maybe 7.5% but this might be to high
-Minmatar bonus 7.5% increase in base speed per level

So with a signature radius around 270 with Caldari BS 5 and a base speed around 210ms with Minmatar BS 5

I wanted to avoid a shield bonus fromCaldari as Minmatar ships are a Jack of all trades and the signature bonus will help if Armour tanked.
